8-163. License plates with amateur radio call letters; rules and regulations.
The secretary of revenue shall adopt rules and regulations necessary to
obtain compliance with all state licensing laws relating to use and
operation of a private passenger vehicle or a truck licensed for a gross
weight of not more than 16,000 pounds
before issuing these plates
in lieu of the regular Kansas license plates, and all applications for
such plates shall be made in a manner prescribed by the division of vehicles.
