Chapter 8.--AUTOMOBILES AND OTHER VEHICLES


Article 1.--GENERAL PROVISIONS

     
8-1,120.   Same; enforcement of act; requests to law
enforcement agencies
for aid; remedies for enforcement and collection not exclusive.

(a) The director of vehicles may request the aid of the state
highway patrol, any peace officer or any duly appointed representative of
the division to enforce the provisions of this act within their respective
jurisdiction and it shall be the duty of such officers to aid when so
requested.

     
(b)   The director may revoke, suspend, cancel, retrieve license plates, or
refuse to issue or renew a registration certificate under the provisions of
K.S.A. 8-1,100 through 8-1,123, and amendments thereto, upon receipt of notice
under the federal performance and registration information systems management
program that the ability of the applicant or certificate holder to operate has
been terminated or denied by a federal agency.

     
(c)   The remedies for enforcement and collection provided in
this act are
cumulative and the use of one shall not be deemed to be a waiver of a right
to use any other.
