8-1742a.   Sale of unsafe tires; misdemeanor.
No person in the business of selling tires shall sell or
offer for sale for highway use any tire which is in unsafe condition or
which has tread depth of less than 1/16 inch measured as provided
in subsection (e) of K.S.A. 8-1742 and amendments thereto. Violation of
this section is a misdemeanor.
