8-2,134. Same; applying for commercial license; replacement license,
when; requiring state license, when.
(a) When applying for a commercial driver's license or
instruction permit, the requirements of K.S.A. 8-240, and amendments
thereto, must be complied with.
(b) When the holder of a commercial driver's license changes such person's
name, mailing address or residence, an application for a
replacement license
shall be made as provided in K.S.A. 8-246, and amendments thereto.
(c) No person who has been a resident of this state for 30 days shall
drive a commercial motor vehicle under the authority of a commercial driver's
license issued by another jurisdiction.
(d) Any person who knowingly falsifies information or certifications
required under subsection (a) is subject to suspension, revocation or
cancellation of such person's commercial driver's license for a period of
at least 60 consecutive days.
