Article 20.--UNIFORM ACT REGULATING TRAFFIC; POWERS OF STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES

     
8-2006.   Restrictions on pedestrian crossings.
Local authorities, by ordinance or resolution, and the secretary of
transportation, by erecting appropriate official traffic-control devices,
are hereby empowered within their respective jurisdictions to prohibit
pedestrians from crossing any roadway in a business district or any
designated highways except in a crosswalk.
