8-2010b. Operation of vehicle with red light prohibited unless approved
emergency vehicle.
A person, partnership, association, corporation municipality
or public official shall not operate, or cause to be operated upon a public
highway, road or street within this state, a motor vehicle
which is required to be designated under the provisions of K.S.A. 8-2010, and
amendments thereto,
with a red light,
siren or both unless such vehicle has been designated as an
authorized emergency
vehicle pursuant to K.S.A. 8-2010, and amendments thereto.
