9-1111b. Applications for branch banks; examinationsand investigation fee; disposition and use of fees.A bank making application to the state banking board or the commissionerfor approval of a branchbank shallpay to the commissioner a fee,in an amount established by rules and regulationsadopted by the commissioner, to defraythe expenses of the board, commissioner or other designeesin the examination and investigation of the application. The commissionershall remit all amounts received under this section to the state treasurerin accordance with the provisions ofK.S.A.75-4215, and amendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, thestatetreasurer shall deposit the entire amount in the state treasury to thecredit of aseparate special account in the statetreasury for each application. The moneys in each such account shall beused only to pay the expenses of the board, commissioner or other designeesin the examination and investigation of the application to which it relatesand any unused balance shall betransferred to the bank commissioner fee fund.
