9-1803. Expenses of examination and investigation; payment; use anddisposition of moneys received.All expenses incurred in making any examination and investigation underK.S.A. 9-1802, and amendments thereto, shall be paid by the applicants, whoshall pay to the commissionera fee in an amount established by rules and regulations adopted by thecommissionerto defray all such expenses. The commissioner shallremit allamounts received under this section to the state treasurer in accordance withthe provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215,andamendments thereto. Upon receipt of each such remittance, the state treasurershalldeposit the entire amount in the state treasuryto the credit of a separate special account in thestate treasury foreach application. The moneys in each such account shall be used only to paythe expenses of the examination and investigation to which it relates andany unused balance shall be transferred to the bankcommissioner fee fund. Anymembers of the board who make such an examination or investigation shall bepaid the sum of $35 per diem for the timetheyactually are engaged in performing their duties as members of such board,and in addition thereto, shall be paid all their actual and necessaryexpenses incurred in the performance of such duties from such funds.
