      9-1912.   Examination of bank or trust company in hands of receiver; exception.(a) At least once each six months the commissioner shall examine everybank or trust company in the hands of a receiver and shall file a copy ofsuch examination report with the clerk of the district court of the countywherein such bank or trust company is located. Every receiver shall submitthe records and affairs of such bank or trust company to an examination bythe commissioner or the commissioner's assistant and examiners whenever thereceiver is requested to do so.

      (b)   The provisions of subsection (a) shall not apply if the federaldeposit insurance corporation or its successor is appointed as receiver ofa bank or trust company.
