9-2011.   Unlawfully engaging in the banking or trust company business; penalty.It shall be unlawful for any individual, firm or corporation to advertise,publish or otherwise promulgate that they are engaged in the bankingbusiness or trust business, without first having obtained authorityfrom the bank commissioner as herein provided. Any such individual ormember of any such firm or officer of any such corporation violating thissection shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall bepunished by a fine not exceeding $5,000.
