    Chapter 6. Division of Emergency Response and Recovery

Division established
    Sec. 1. The division of emergency response and recovery isestablished within the department.

Duties
    Sec. 2. The division shall do the following:
        (1) Administer IC 10-14.
        (2) Administer the state's emergency operations functionsduring an emergency.

Deputy executive director
    Sec. 3. The executive director shall appoint an individual as adeputy executive director to manage the division.
