    Chapter 7. Community Corrections Home Detention Fund

Establishment of funds
    Sec. 1. A community corrections home detention fund isestablished in each county where supervision of home detentionordered under IC 35-38-1-21 is provided by a community correctionsprogram.

Contents of fund
    Sec. 2. The fund consists of:
        (1) home detention user fees deposited into the fund underIC 35-38-2.5-8;
        (2) home detention supervision grants to the communitycorrections program made by the department underIC 11-12-2-1 for the purpose of funding supervision of homedetention by a community corrections program; and
        (3) amounts deposited into the fund under IC 11-12-1-3.

Budget; appropriation
    Sec. 3. A community corrections program that providessupervision of home detention under IC 35-38-2.5-5 shall annuallysubmit a budget of its operating expenses for home detentionsupervision to the fiscal body of the county. Based on the budgetsubmitted, the fiscal body of the county shall appropriate from thecommunity corrections home detention fund amounts necessary tomaintain supervision of home detention by the communitycorrections program.

Reversion of funds
    Sec. 4. Money in a community corrections home detention fundat the end of a fiscal year does not revert to any other fund.
