Prior authorization for mental health services; providers licensedunder IC 25-33-1
    Sec. 1. A health service provider in psychology licensed underIC 25-33-1 may submit a request for prior authorization (as definedin 405 IAC 1-6-2) for mental health services provided in theprovider's private practice or a community mental health centerauthorized under IC 12-29 without the supervision or order of aphysician.

Psychiatrists practicing in employment of community mentalhealth centers
    Sec. 2. A psychiatrist practicing in the employment of acommunity mental health center must not be required to request priorauthorization to treat Medicaid eligible patients if the request forprior authorization is not required of psychiatrists in private practice.
