    Chapter 17. Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County

Annual transfer
    Sec. 1. The office of the secretary of family and social servicesshall annually transfer forty million dollars ($40,000,000) to ahospital corporation established under IC 16-22-8 from the stategeneral fund for the purposes of the hospital corporation.

Annual transfer made in four equal installments
    Sec. 2. A transfer required in a calendar year under section 1 ofthis chapter shall be made in four (4) equal installments before April30, July 31, September 30, and December 31.

Reduction in maximum permissible property tax levy
    Sec. 3. The maximum permissible property tax levy that a hospitalcorporation established under IC 16-22-8 would otherwise bepermitted to impose under IC 6-1.1-18.5-3 shall be reduced bythirty-five million dollars ($35,000,000) in a calendar year in whichsection 1 of this chapter provides for a transfer.
