Cooperation with state and federal government in distribution ofaid
    Sec. 1. (a) A township trustee, as administrator of townshipassistance, may cooperate with the state and federal government inthe furnishing of township assistance so that the township assistanceis furnished adequately and economically.
    (b) A township trustee, as administrator of township assistance,shall provide facilities for relief headquarters and storage andtransportation of commodities for township assistance purposes asare demanded, but such cooperation shall be confined to thatreasonably required under the purposes of this article.

USDA surplus agricultural commodities distributions;participation
    Sec. 2. (a) The township trustee, as administrator of townshipassistance, may participate in surplus agricultural commoditiesdistributions provided by the United States Department ofAgriculture to the state.
    (b) A township trustee, as administrator of township assistance:
        (1) may establish the trustee's own distribution plan; or
        (2) shall participate jointly with at least one (1) other townshiptrustee who serves as administrator of township assistance.
