    Chapter 2. Installment Payments

Fee payment schedules
    Sec. 1. (a) The department shall establish fee payment schedulesthat allow a person that is required to pay an annual fee establishedunder:
        (1) this title; or
        (2) rules adopted under this title;
to pay the fee in equal installments over a twelve (12) month periodthat begins on the date the fee is assessed.
    (b) The department shall allow a person to pay an annual feeaccording to a fee payment schedule established under this sectionif the person determines that a single payment of the entire fee is anundue hardship on the person.
    (c) A fee payment schedule established under this section may notrequire a person to pay more than one (1) installment in any three (3)month period during the twelve (12) month period.
    (d) The department is not required to assess installmentsseparately.
