Maintenance; trade secrets; disclosure
    Sec. 1. (a) The department shall:
        (1) maintain records; and
        (2) by means of a system of record keeping, tabulate thevolume, nature, and location;
of hazardous wastes generated, stored, or disposed of within Indiana.
    (b) Because of the potential relationship between hazardouswastes and proprietary processes of hazardous waste producers andoperators of hazardous waste facilities, the commissioner shall, inaccordance with IC 13-14-11, ensure that trade secrets disclosed tothe commissioner or an authorized representative of the departmentare not otherwise disclosed:
        (1) without the consent of the person; or
        (2) as required by law.
