    Chapter 8. Disposal of Real Property

"Property" defined
    Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "property" refers to real propertythat is:
        (1) owned by the state; and
        (2) held or managed by the department under IC 14-19 orIC 14-20.

Disposal of property
    Sec. 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of IC 14-19 orIC 14-20, the department may dispose of property under the lawgoverning disposal of real property that is owned by the state.

Restrictions on disposal
    Sec. 3. Disposal of property under this chapter is subject torestrictions contained in the instrument by which the state took titleto the property.
