    Chapter 36. Trapper Training

Establishment of training program
    Sec. 1. (a) The department shall establish a trapper trainingprogram, including a course of instruction in trapping wild animals,that emphasizes methods, laws, ethics, responsibilities, naturalhistory, wildlife management, and other matters associated withtrapping.
    (b) To carry out subsection (a), the department may cooperatewith an organization that promotes the responsible trapping of wildanimals.

Division designated to administer program
    Sec. 2. The director shall designate one (1) of the divisions of thedepartment to administer the trapper training program.

Reports required for federal assistance
    Sec. 3. The department may prepare the reports that are necessaryto obtain federal or other assistance for the trapper training program.
