Chapter 10. Appropriation to County Corn Growers' Association
or Horticultural Society in a County Without a County Fair

Appropriation for cash awards

    

Sec. 1. (a) This section applies to a county corn growers'
association or horticulture society with at least:

        (1) fifty (50) members in the local association or society; and

        (2) ten (10) members in the state association or society.

    (b) In a county where an agricultural fair or association:

        (1) does not exist; or

        (2) is not active;

the county council and the board of county commissioners may
annually appropriate and pay to any county corn growers' association
or horticultural society up to two hundred dollars ($200) to be used
in the payment of cash awards.
