Law enforcement officer's duties
    
Sec. 1. All law enforcement officers and law enforcementagencies within Indiana shall provide assistance as is necessary to theboard, the state veterinarian, a county veterinarian, or an agent of theUnited States Department of Agriculture in enforcing this article.

Sec. 2. This article may be enforced by any appropriate action inthe name of the state of Indiana, filed and conducted by the attorneygeneral or the appropriate prosecuting attorney.

Injunctions
    
Sec. 3. (a) If a person engages in the business of a livestockdealer, including employing an individual to act on the person'sbehalf, without a license required under this article:
        (1) the attorney general;
        (2) the board or the board's representative;
        (3) the prosecuting attorney; or
        (4) a resident of the county in which the person engaged in thebusiness of dealing without a license;
may maintain an action in the name of the state to enjoin the personfrom continuing the violation.
    (b) An injunction granted under this section does not relieve aperson from any criminal prosecution allowed for the person'sviolation of this article.
    (c) A complaint for an injunction is sufficient if it alleges that:
        (1) on a certain date; and
        (2) in a specific county;
the person engaged in business as a livestock dealer and did not havea valid license required under this article.
    (d) If an injunction is granted in an action brought by a residentof the county, the court shall order the defendant to pay reasonableattorney's fees to the plaintiff's attorney.
