    Chapter 7. Assistance by Cities and Counties to Public HealthNursing Associations

Appropriations authorized
    Sec. 1. A city or county may appropriate money out of the generalfund of the city or county to assist incorporated public health nursingassociations, organized and operated not-for-profit and solely for thepromotion of public health and the suppression of disease, incarrying on the work of the public health nursing associations withinthe city or county.

Limitations on appropriations
    Sec. 2. The amount appropriated under section 1 of this chaptermay not exceed the amount that could be collected from annuallylevying a tax on each one hundred dollars ($100) valuation of taxableproperty in the city or county as follows:
        (1) For a city, one and sixty-seven hundredths cents ($0.0167).
        (2) For a county, thirty-three hundredths of one cent ($0.0033).
