Content
Sec. 1. The state department must provide information stressingthe moral aspects of abstinence from sexual activity in any literaturethat the state department distributes to school children and youngadults concerning available methods for the prevention of acquiredimmune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Such literature must state thatthe best way to avoid AIDS is for young people to refrain fromsexual activity until the young people are ready as adults to establish,in the context of marriage, a mutually faithful monogamousrelationship.

Distribution to school children
Sec. 2. The state department may not distribute AIDS literaturedescribed in section 1 of this chapter to school children without theconsent of the governing body of the school corporation the schoolchildren attend.

Violations
Sec. 3. (a) Except as otherwise provided, a person who recklesslyviolates or fails to comply with this chapter commits a Class Bmisdemeanor.
(b) Each day a violation continues constitutes a separate offense.
