Chapter 2. Governor's Use of State Funds to Prevent Spread ofDisease

Sec. 1. For the purpose of preventing the introduction and spreadof cholera and other contagious and infectious diseases withinIndiana, the governor may, at any time the governor believes itproper and necessary, draw an order on the auditor of state, subjectto the limitation set forth in section 4 of this chapter.

Issuance of warrants
Sec. 2. The auditor of state shall issue to the governor a warranton the state treasury in the amount named in the order of thegovernor.

Use of funds
Sec. 3. The governor shall expend the amount drawn, aided by thestate department and other persons designated by the governor, in themanner ordered by the governor.

Limit on funds
Sec. 4. Not more than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) may bedrawn under this chapter in any one (1) fiscal year.
