Chapter 4. Interim Study Committee on Alcoholic BeverageIssues

"Committee"
Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "committee" refers to the interimstudy committee on alcoholic beverage issues established by section2 of this chapter.

Sec. 2. The interim study committee on alcoholic beverage issuesis established.

Committee charge
Sec. 3. The committee shall study and make recommendations tothe legislative council concerning the following:
(1) Alcohol server training and employee permits for salesclerks in dealer establishments.
(2) Additional one, two, or three-way permits for restaurants ineconomic development areas.
(3) Displaying alcoholic beverages in separate areas in dealerestablishments.
(4) The historic origins of Indiana alcoholic beverage laws andthe Twenty-first Amendment to the Constitution of the UnitedStates and its place and purpose in the twenty-first century.

Final report
Sec. 4. Before November 1, 2009, the committee shall issue afinal report to the legislative council containing the findings andrecommendations of the committee.
