Parental choice program
    Sec. 1. The school city shall offer a parental choice program thatallows a parent the opportunity to choose the school in the schoolcity that the parent's child will attend.

Criteria for parental choices and assignment to schools
    Sec. 2. (a) The board shall establish appropriate criteria to:
        (1) set priorities for parental choices; and
        (2) assign students to schools.
    (b) Criteria established under this section must provide that if theparent of a student chooses to enroll the student in a neighborhoodschool, the student will be assigned to the neighborhood school,subject only to building capacity limitations.
