    Chapter 10. County Scholars; Vincennes University

Appointments
    Sec. 1. The board of trustees and faculty of Vincennes Universitymay appoint annually to Vincennes University at least two (2)individuals from each county in Indiana.

Criteria for appointments
    Sec. 2. The appointments under this chapter shall be made on thebasis of scholarship and superior mental ability.

Conditions for appointed persons
    Sec. 3. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), individualsappointed under this chapter are entitled to enter, remain, and receiveinstruction in Vincennes University for the next school year aftertheir appointment, upon the same conditions, qualifications, andregulations prescribed for other applicants for admission to, orstudents in, Vincennes University.
    (b) Any student attending Vincennes University under this chaptershall not be chargeable for the payment of any contingent fees.

Appointments; applicability
    Sec. 4. An appointment under this chapter may be made fromstudents eligible to enter Vincennes University or students inattendance at Vincennes University.
