    Chapter 3. Assistance to Individuals Who Are Blind

Duty to provide assistance to individuals who are blind
    Sec. 1. If a blind person:
        (1) matriculates in a department of:
            (A) Indiana University;
            (B) Purdue University;
            (C) Ball State University; or
            (D) Indiana State University; and
        (2) requests the administration to provide an assistant to read tothe person;
the board of trustees of the state educational institution and theexecutive officers of the state educational institution shall supply,free of charge, an assistant for at least three (3) hours per day to readto the student under the direction of the faculty of the stateeducational institution.
