Chapter 1. General Provisions; Definitions

IC 21-22-1-1

Definitions

    

Sec. 1. The definitions in this chapter apply throughout this
article.

IC 21-22-1-2

"Occupational and technical education"

    

Sec. 2. "Occupational and technical education" means education
that is:

        (1) job employment oriented; and

        (2) intended to deliver occupational specific skills that are
necessary for employment.

"Region"

    

Sec. 3. "Region" refers to a region established under IC 21-22-6-1.

"Regional board"

    

Sec. 4. "Regional board" refers to a regional board of trustees
established under IC 21-22-6-2.

Sec. 5. "Region" means an administrative region established under
IC 21-22-6-1.

Sec. 6. "State board of trustees" refers to the board of trustees of
Ivy Tech Community College.
