Chapter 1. General Provisions; Definitions

Definitions

    

Sec. 1. The definitions in this chapter apply throughout this article

IC 21-39-1-2

"Police officer"

    

Sec. 2. "Police officer" refers to a police officer employed by a
state educational institution under IC 21-39-4.

"Political subdivision"

    

Sec. 3. "Political subdivision" has the meaning set forth in
IC 36-1-2-13.

IC 21-39-1-4

"Violation"

    

Sec. 4. "Violation" refers to the existence of:

        (1) a violation of a federal law or regulation;

        (2) a violation of a state law or rule;

        (3) a violation of an ordinance of a political subdivision; or

        (4) the misuse of public resources.
