Religious instruction
    
Sec. 1. A state educational institution may permit a studentenrolled in the state educational institution to elect part of the workrequired for graduation from the state educational institution in aschool for biblical and religious instruction.

Religious instruction; restrictions
    
Sec. 2. A school for biblical and religious instruction may not:
        (1) be supported by state funds; and
        (2) conduct classes in any building or on any property owned bythe state.

Religious instruction; teacher qualifications
    
Sec. 3. A teacher at a school for biblical and religious instructionmust have the ability and educational preparation for teaching thesubjects offered equal to the ability and education requirements ofthe teachers in the state educational institution in which credit is tobe given.

Course equivalency
    
Sec. 4. The hours of recitation, content of instruction,requirements of attendance, and standards of work by the studentselecting courses in a school of biblical and religious instruction mustbe the same as in the state educational institution in which credit isgranted.
