Chapter 1. General Provisions; Definitions

IC 21-47-1-1

Applicability

    

Sec. 1. The definitions in this chapter apply throughout this
article.

IC 21-47-1-2

"Center"

    

Sec. 2. "Center", for purposes of IC 21-47-4, refers to the center
for coal technology research established by IC 21-47-4-1.

"Fund"

    

Sec. 3. "Fund", for purposes of IC 21-47-4, refers to the coal
technology research fund established by IC 21-47-4-5.

IC 21-47-1-4

"Indiana coal"

    

Sec. 4. "Indiana coal" means coal from a mine whose coal
deposits are located in the ground wholly or partially in Indiana
regardless of the location of the mine's tipple.

"State agency"

    

Sec. 5. "State agency" has the meaning set forth in IC 4-13-1-1.

"Survey"

    

Sec. 6. "Survey", as used in IC 21-47-2, refers to the Indiana
geological survey established as a part of Indiana University by
IC 21-47-2.

"Unit"

    

Sec. 7. "Unit" has the meaning set forth in IC 36-1-2-23.
