    Chapter 8. Deduction From Wage Payments

Fine of employee by employer prohibited
    Sec. 1. It is unlawful for any employer to assess a fine on anypretext against any employee and retain the same or any part thereoffrom his wages. An employer who violates this section commits aClass C infraction.

Enforcement
    Sec. 3. It is hereby made the duty of the commissioner of labor toenforce the provisions of this chapter by the processes of the courts,and in the name of the state; and, upon his failure so to do, anycitizen of the state is hereby authorized to do the same in the nameof the state.
