Guidelines for making grants
    Sec. 1. The department shall establish guidelines for makinggrants to the Indiana schools smart partnership, which is establishedto create partnerships between schools and local businesses to makethe curricula of math and science relevant to students.

Grants to coordinating organizations and participating schools
    Sec. 2. The department may make grants from the statetechnology advancement and retention account established byIC 4-12-12-1 to coordinating organizations and participating schools.

    Sec. 3. A grant issued under this chapter is subject to approval bythe budget agency.
