Transferability of licenses
    Sec. 1. A license issued under this article is not transferable fromone (1) person to another.

Funeral home licenses; location
    Sec. 2. A funeral home license applies only to one (1) locationand is not transferable from one (1) location to another.

Funeral homes; changing, transferring, or assigning name
    Sec. 3. The board may not prohibit a funeral home licensee from:
        (1) changing the licensee's name; or
        (2) transferring or assigning the licensee's name to anotherfuneral home licensee.

Shares of funeral home corporations; transfers
    Sec. 4. The board may not prohibit a shareholder or a corporationthat is a funeral home licensee from transferring or assigning any partof the shareholder's ownership of the corporation to another person.

Assets of funeral homes and branch locations; transfers of interest
    Sec. 5. The board may not prohibit a person from transferring orassigning any interest that the person has in the assets of a funeralhome or branch location, other than a funeral home or branchlocation license, to another person.
