Expiration of licenses; renewal fee; reinstatement of invalidlicenses; rules
    
Sec. 1. (a) A license issued under this article expires biennially onthe date established by the licensing agency under IC 25-1-5-4. Onor before the date established by the licensing agency, an applicantfor renewal shall pay the biennial renewal fee set by the board underIC 25-1-8-2.
    (b) If the holder of a license does not renew the license on orbefore the date established by the licensing agency, the licenseexpires and becomes invalid without any action taken by the board.
    (c) A license that becomes invalid under subsection (b) may bereinstated by the board not later than three (3) years after theinvalidation if the holder of the invalid license meets therequirements for reinstatement under IC 25-1-8-6(c).
    (d) If a license that becomes invalid under this section is notreinstated by the board not later than three (3) years after itsinvalidation, the holder of the invalid license must meet therequirements for reinstatement established by the board underIC 25-1-8-6(d).
    (e) A licensee whose license is reinstated under subsection (d)may be issued a provisional license under IC 25-22.5-5-2.7.
    (f) The board may adopt rules under IC 25-22.5-2-7 establishingrequirements for the reinstatement of a lapsed license.
