Application
    Sec. 1. This chapter applies only to a licensed psychologist whohas received a health service provider endorsement underIC 25-33-1-5.1(c).

IC 25-33-2-2
Required hours and courses
    Sec. 2. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), a licensedpsychologist must complete at least forty (40) hours of continuingeducation courses each license period.
    (b) A psychologist who has been licensed for less than two (2)years preceding the application for renewal must complete thenumber of credit hours established by the board.
    (c) During a license period, a psychologist may not earn morethan twenty (20) credit hours toward the requirements under thissection for continuing education courses that include the following:
        (1) Journal clubs, colloquia, invited speaker sessions, in-houseseminars, and case conferences that are specifically designedfor training or teaching.
        (2) Programs offered at professional or scientific meetings thatare relevant to psychology.
        (3) Individualized learning, including approved audio and videoinstructional programs and formal professional supervision.Individualized learning does not include administrativesupervision.
    (d) During a license period, a psychologist must earn at leasttwenty (20) credit hours toward the requirements under this sectionfor continuing education courses that include the following:
        (1) Formally organized courses.
        (2) Workshops.
        (3) Seminars.
        (4) Symposia.
        (5) Post doctoral institutes.
        (6) Home study programs, including approved computer, audio,and video instructional programs, designed by board approvedorganizations and subject to board verification and approvalprocedures, not to exceed ten (10) credit hours per licenseperiod.

Compliance with chapter
    Sec. 4. The board and licensed psychologists shall comply withthe requirements concerning continuing education under IC 25-1-4.

Monitoring of courses; rules
    Sec. 5. (a) A member of the board may attend or monitor acontinuing education course.
    (b) An approved organization shall provide the board with courseinformation or materials requested by the board.
    (c) The board shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 to implement thischapter.
