IC 25-8-13-1
"Examination" defined
    Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "examination" includes therepetition of an examination by a person who did not receive asatisfactory grade (as defined by IC 25-8-4-9) on a prior examination.

IC 25-8-13-2
Fee exempt transactions
    Sec. 2. The board may not charge a fee for:
        (1) transferring a cosmetology salon license under IC 25-8-4-4or barber shop license under IC 25-8-8.1; or
        (2) issuing a temporary license to practice cosmetology underIC 25-8-7-6 or a temporary work permit to practice barberingunder IC 25-8-12.1-7.

School license fee
    Sec. 3. (a) The board shall charge a fee established by the boardunder IC 25-1-8-2 for an application to issue or renew a cosmetologyschool or barber school license.
    (b) The board shall charge a fee established under IC 25-1-8-6 forreinstating a cosmetology school or barber school license.

Instructor's licensing fee
    Sec. 4. (a) The board shall charge a fee established by the boardunder IC 25-1-8-2 for issuing or renewing an instructor license.
    (b) The board shall charge a fee established under IC 25-1-8-6 forreinstating an instructor license.

Salon and barber shop license fee
    Sec. 5. (a) The board shall charge a fee established by the boardunder IC 25-1-8-2 for issuing or renewing:
        (1) a cosmetology salon license;
        (2) an electrology salon license;
        (3) an esthetic salon license;        (4) a manicurist salon license; or
        (5) a barber shop license.
    (b) The board shall charge a fee established under IC 25-1-8-6 forreinstating:
        (1) a cosmetology salon license;
        (2) an electrology salon license;
        (3) an esthetic salon license;
        (4) a manicurist salon license; or
        (5) a barber shop license.

    (b) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing or renewing a cosmetologist license.
    (c) The board shall charge a fee established under IC 25-1-8-6 forreinstating a cosmetologist license.
    (d) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing an Indiana cosmetologist license to a personwho holds a license from another jurisdiction that meets therequirements set forth in IC 25-8-4-2.

    Sec. 8. (a) The board shall charge a fee established by the boardunder IC 25-1-8-2 for providing an examination to an applicant foran electrologist license.
    (b) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing or renewing an electrologist license.
    (c) The board shall charge a fee established under IC 25-1-8-6 forreinstating an electrologist license.
    (d) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing a license to a person who holds anelectrologist license from another jurisdiction that meets therequirements under IC 25-8-4-2.

    Sec. 9. (a) The board shall charge a fee established by the boardunder IC 25-1-8-2 for providing an examination to an applicant fora manicurist license.
    (b) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing or renewing a manicurist license.
    (c) The board shall charge a fee required under IC 25-1-8-6 forreinstating a manicurist license.
    (d) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing a license to a person who holds a manicuristlicense from another jurisdiction that meets the requirements underIC 25-8-4-2.

    (c) The board shall charge a fee established under IC 25-1-8-6 forreinstating an esthetician license.
    (d) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing a license to a person who holds an estheticianlicense from another jurisdiction that meets the requirements underIC 25-8-4-2.

    Sec. 12.1. (a) The board shall establish fees under IC 25-1-8-2 forproviding an examination to an applicant for a barber license.
    (b) The board shall establish fees under IC 25-1-8-2 for issuing orrenewing a barber license.
    (c) The board shall charge a fee established under IC 25-1-8-6 for

reinstating a barber license.
    (d) The board shall charge a fee established by the board underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing a license to a person who holds a barberlicense from another jurisdiction that meets the requirements underIC 25-8-4-2.

    Sec. 13. The board shall charge the fee established underIC 25-1-8-2 for issuing a duplicate license.
