    Chapter 6. Confidentiality of School Records

Confidentiality of preliminary inquiry proceedings compiled byschool officials
    Sec. 1. If:
        (1) a preliminary inquiry under IC 31-34-7 or IC 31-37-8 takesplace in a school; and
        (2) the preliminary inquiry is conducted in the presence ofschool officials;
any record of the proceeding compiled by school officials isconfidential and is not open to public inspection under IC 5-14-3-3.
