    Chapter 9. Limiting Time for Reopening Judgments ForeclosingLiens for Public Improvements

Judicial sales; sheriff's deed
    Sec. 1. If:
        (1) a court with jurisdiction in Indiana renders a judgmentforeclosing a public improvement lien;
        (2) the sheriff of a county sells the encumbered real estate tosatisfy the lien; and
        (3) the sheriff has executed a sheriff's deed for the real estate toa purchaser;
an action to reopen the judgment or invalidate the deed for any causemay not be brought unless the action is filed within one (1) year afterthe date of the deed.
