Judicial circuit
    Sec. 1. Dubois County constitutes the fifty-seventh judicialcircuit.

Establishment of standard superior court
    Sec. 2. (a) There is established a court of record to be known asthe Dubois superior court.
    (b) The Dubois superior court is a standard superior court asdescribed in IC 33-29-1.
    (c) Dubois County comprises the judicial district of the superiorcourt.

Judge; location of court sessions
    Sec. 3. The Dubois superior court has one (1) judge who shallhold sessions in:
        (1) the Dubois County courthouse in Jasper; or
        (2) other places in the county as the board of countycommissioners of Dubois County may provide.

Clerk and sheriff
    Sec. 4. The clerk of the Dubois circuit court shall serve as theclerk of the Dubois superior court, and the sheriff of Dubois Countyshall serve as the sheriff of the Dubois superior court. They shallattend the court and perform the same duties relating to their officesas they are required to do with respect to the Dubois circuit court.

Jurisdiction
    Sec. 5. The Dubois superior court has the same jurisdiction as theDubois circuit court.

Small claims and misdemeanor division
    Sec. 6. The Dubois superior court has a standard small claims andmisdemeanor division.
