Judicial circuit
    Sec. 1. Fayette County constitutes the seventy-third judicialcircuit.

Establishment of standard superior court
    Sec. 2. (a) There is established a court of record to be known asthe Fayette superior court.
    (b) The Fayette superior court is a standard superior court asdescribed in IC 33-29-1.
    (c) Fayette County comprises the judicial district of the court.

Judge; location of court sessions
    Sec. 3. The Fayette superior court has one (1) judge who shallhold sessions in:
        (1) the Fayette County courthouse in Connersville; or
        (2) other places in the county as the Fayette County executivemay provide.

Jurisdiction
    Sec. 4. The Fayette superior court has the same jurisdiction as theFayette circuit court, except that only the circuit court has juvenilejurisdiction.

    Sec. 5. The Fayette superior court has a standard small claims andmisdemeanor division.
