Foreign laws
Sec. 1. Printed books or pamphlets purporting on their face to bethe session or other statutes of any of the United States, a territory ofthe United States, or a foreign jurisdiction and to have been printedand published by the authority of the state, territory, or foreignjurisdiction, or proved to be commonly recognized in the courts ofthe state, territory or foreign jurisdiction, shall be received in Indianacourts as prima facie evidence of the statutes.

Interpretation and construction of chapter
Sec. 2. This chapter shall be interpreted and construed as toeffectuate its general purposes to make uniform the law of thosestates that enact it.
