    Chapter 14. Unlawful Solicitation

"Attorney" defined
    Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "attorney" means an individual ingood standing admitted to the practice of law in Indiana or anotherstate.

Unlawful solicitation
    Sec. 2. A person who is not an attorney and who:
        (1) knowingly or intentionally solicits, advises, requests, orinduces another person to bring an action in a court; and
        (2) in making a solicitation under subdivision (1), directly orindirectly receives any compensation, fee, or commission fromthe attorney for the solicitation;
commits unlawful solicitation, a Class A misdemeanor.
