Applicability of chapter
    Sec. 1. This chapter governs the display of objects on realproperty owned by a political subdivision.

Display of Ten Commandments on political subdivision property
    Sec. 2. An object containing the words of the Ten Commandmentsmay be displayed on real property owned by a political subdivisionalong with other documents of historical significance that haveformed and influenced the United States legal or governmentalsystem. Such display of an object containing the words of the TenCommandments shall be in the same manner and appearancegenerally as other documents and objects displayed, and shall not bepresented or displayed in any fashion that results in calling attentionto it apart from the other displayed documents and objects.
