Chapter 18. Animal Control Centers

Applicability of chapter

    

Sec. 1. This chapter applies to each county having a consolidated
city.

IC 36-8-18-2

Bonds or notes to relocate animal control center

    

Sec. 2. The city-county legislative body may issue bonds or notes
to relocate, acquire, construct, and equip an animal control center if
relocation of an existing center is, in the discretion of the works
board, necessary or desirable to operate any existing or planned
public works.

Debt service on bonds or notes

    

Sec. 3. Debt service on bonds or notes issued under this chapter
may be paid from any funds of the works board available to pay the
debt service, as determined by the city-county legislative body as set
forth in IC 5-1-14-4.
