Applicability of chapter
    Sec. 1. This chapter governs the display of objects on realproperty owned by the state.

Display of Ten Commandments on state property
    Sec. 2. An object containing the words of the Ten Commandmentsmay be displayed on real property owned by the state along withother documents of historical significance that have formed andinfluenced the United States legal or governmental system. Suchdisplay of an object containing the words of the Ten Commandmentsshall be in the same manner and appearance generally as otherdocuments and objects displayed, and shall not be presented ordisplayed in any fashion that results in calling attention to it apartfrom the other displayed documents and objects.
