    Chapter 11. Investigation of County Records

Request; investigations
    Sec. 1. Whenever the proper fiduciary officer of the governmentof any county requests the state board of accounts to correct thefinancial records of the county government by a showing that fundsof the county have been taken or withdrawn by unlawful means andthat remedies are exhausted, the state board of accounts shallinvestigate and determine the veracity of the showing and proceedwith the correction of the records in the manner required byIC 5-13-13-8, IC 5-13-14-1, and IC 5-13-14-2 for lost funds ofmunicipalities.
