    Chapter 16. Methamphetamine Abuse Reporting

"Law enforcement agency"
    Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "law enforcement agency" has themeaning set forth in IC 10-11-8-2.

"Methamphetamine abuse"
    Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, "methamphetamine abuse" meansthe:
        (1) use;
        (2) sale;
        (3) manufacture;
        (4) transport; or
        (5) delivery;
of methamphetamine or of a methamphetamine precursor, if theprecursor is being used, sold, manufactured, transported, or deliveredto facilitate the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Reporting of methamphetamine abuse
    Sec. 3. A law enforcement agency that discovers evidence ofmethamphetamine abuse shall report the methamphetamine abuse tothe criminal justice institute on a form and in the manner prescribedby guidelines adopted by the criminal justice institute underIC 5-2-6-18.
