Circulation requirements
    
Sec. 2. (a) This section does not apply in counties that have apopulation of more than forty thousand (40,000).
    (b) In addition to the requirement for all newspapers provided inIC 5-3-1-4, a newspaper in which notices, reports, and otherinformation affecting county business are required by law to bepublished shall have a paid circulation of not less than two percent(2%) of the population of the county in which it is published.
    (c) In addition to the requirements for qualified publicationsprovided in IC 5-3-1-4, in which notices, reports, and otherinformation affecting county business may be published, qualifiedpublications must be circulated to not less than ten percent (10%) ofthe population of the county in which the qualified publication ispublished.

Supplemental effect of law
    
Sec. 4. This chapter shall not be deemed to alter, amend, or repealany other statute of the state of Indiana, but shall be supplementaland in addition to any other law in force on June 14, 1939, requiringall legal notices to be published in a newspaper of generalcirculation.
